Category (Required)

Different types of records (Expense/Income) will present different categories for you to choose from.

You can also create your own category with Add New (at the end of the category list).

Long press on an existing category allows you to change the category's name and/or icon

Name (Required)

Name of the product/transaction

Amount (Required)

The amount of this transaction (sign will be automatically assigned according to the record type).

Currency (Optional)

When recording transactions, the default currency is set to the base currency of your chosen account, which can be adjusted at Settings. If you have made purchases in other currencies, you can click the currency button to the left of the amount to switch it. The system will automatically fetch the real-time exchange rate and convert the amount into the main currency of the account.

Project (Optional)

Assign this transaction to a specific project. If there is no special designation, left it blank.

You can assign the transaction proportionally to a few budgets across multiple projects. This way, the same transaction will be divided and associated with each budget based on the allocation.

Address (Optional)

You can assign a location for this transaction, which allows you to browse it on the Map view of the Search page.

You may also simply press the location button on the right to get the current location.

Store (Optional)

You can enter the merchant's name or brand for this transaction.

Quantity (Optional)

If applicable, you can enter the number of items you have purchased for this transaction.

Date & Time (Optional)

The day when the transaction occurs, or the day of consumption. Default to the current time.

Tags (Optional)

Add extra information to this record for easier search or report filtering later. For example, specify the payment method (#Interac, #Alipay, #ApplePay), promotional activities (#BuyOneGetOneFree, #SecondHalfPrice), or even rate the purchased item or meal (#★★★★★).

You can add new tags by clicking the '+' icon, and update a tag by long-pressing on it.

Attach a photo of the product or receipt. You can take a picture directly or select one from your device's photo gallery.

Save the Transaction

Once you have filled in all the necessary details, tap the “check” button on the top right corner.

Then you will enter a temporary screen, where you can either continue adding more transactions are save the transactions to the database.
